We are honored to once again be ranked by Conde Nast Traveler.  Our building, The Charter at Beaver Creek placed 13th out of 50 ski hotels selected in North America.  Highest rankings were based on our location, rooms and overall service.

SKI Magazine ranks Beaver Creek 8th in annual Resort Guide

The results are in. With finishes in the top 10 for grooming, service, lodging, dining, on-mountain food, lifts, and weather, Beaver Creek placed 8th overall in SKI Magazine's annual Resort Guide. Every year, SKI Magazine sends out thousands of surveys to its subscribers who in turn rank North America's ski resorts based on their vacation experiences. Here's what participants had to say:

Guest Room Furniture Replaced

We are pleased to announce that we have all new furniture in the guest room.  There is a new King-size bed, new dresser, and two new night stands.  We will be taking photos of the new furnishings and uploading them to our photo gallery when we are in Beaver Creek over Thanksgiving.

Best Guest Service in the Country

Thanks to the efforts of more than 200 paid and volunteer mountain hosts Beaver Creek was awarded the 2006 Best Overall Customer Service award from the National Ski Area Association. Hosts seek to provide a seamless vacation experience by helping people find a seat at lunch, to handing out warm chocolate chip cookies as guests leave the slopes in the afternoon. Service is a part of the everyday culture of Beaver Creek, helping guests leave their worries behind and enjoy their Rocky Mountain experience.

Beaver Creek opens new terrain for 2006-07: Stone Creek Chutes

Kids and adults can experience new thrills and hidden powder stashes with 180 acres of new terrain set to open for 2006-07 ski season at Beaver Creek. The new glades highlight a slate of new items that will greet Beaver Creek visitors this winter.

Short, steep gladed runs in the Stone Creek Chutes area will offer in-bounds excitement for expert skiers and riders. Explore chutes ranging from 400 to 600 vertical feet in length with pitches up to 45 degrees. Stone Creek Chutes is located to the East of Rose Bowl and is accessed from the Cinch Express Lift (#8) and the Rose Bowl Lift (#4). Stone Creek will open during the winter season, raising the resort's total skiable acreage from 1,625 to 1,805.

The Charter at Beaver Creek Spends over $1.2 Million in Fall 2005 Improvements

To complete major improvements prior to the Winter 2005/06 Season, our building The Charter at Beaver Creek will be closed for the off-season, October 10 - November 20, 2005. During this time an approximate $1.2 million in remodeling projects will be completed.

The entry way and the lobby will be the main focus of this fall's remodel. A beautiful slate stone flooring rich in earth tones will welcome you when you enter The Charter from the porte-cochere. The entryway will be the start of a fresh new texture and earth-toned walls, which will flow gracefully through the lobby and attached hallways.
